Tatyana Arslanova was born in Ulyanovsk. She graduated from the Applied Arts department of Moscow Higher School of Arts and Industry (now Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry). From 1976 to 1981, she lived and worked in Ufa, where she taught at the Painting and Drawing program of Bashkir State Pedagogical Institute as the Assistant Professor at the Applied Arts department. In 1982, she returned to her home city.
Arslanova was a member of the Artists Union of the Soviet Union since 1978.
She passed away in 2009.
