Born in 2000 in Ufa, Chechkina started to study photography after graduating from middle school. In 2019, she began her studies of contemporary documentary photography at the Rodchenko Art School (Moscow) under Valeri Nistratov. In her artistic practice, she explores everyday life, finding shifts and gaps there, and resetting the optics of the perception of the routine.
